2011 Trek Jet 20

Your young pilot will be ready for takeoff on Trek's Jet 20. With cool moto styling, lightweight aluminum construction and stylish fenders, it's a bike both you and your child will love. This great-riding bicycle comes with powerful hand and coaster brakes, a pad set and chainguard, too.

A great looking bike that put a smile on his face the moment he saw it. For racing around the 1/4 mile long drive and little dirt trails, we could not ask for more. This thing is taking some serious abuse.

Just picked this up at my LBS and my son LOVES it! As an upgrade, both quality and size wise, from our big box store brand, this bike is amazing. After 3-4 adjustments, this bike has been perfectly adjusted for my son's height, leg length, and arm length.

Got this for our son (7) and he loves it. He handles the bike well and feels confident on it. I gave the Jet20 4 stars only because he's had it for just a few weeks.

          Comments:

Our 10 yr old son has neurological disorders impacting his balance and thought process. We thought him riding a bike was not going to occur. We enrolled him in the Bike First program. The program recommended a certain style of bike to make learning easier. The Jet 20 fit the bill exactly. Three days into Bike First, our son was riding on two wheels. Two weeks after that, he went on his first five mile ride. The Jet 20 is a great bike to learn on. Moreover, the kids love the style of the bike - thinking it's a "cool bike" which encourages them to ride more.

Our 6-year-old has been riding this bike for several months and loves it. We bought him this bike after a couple of years riding without training wheels on a smaller, much cheaper bike. This bike fits him perfectly at the lowest settings, so there is plenty of room to grow. I rode the bike myself at 5'11" and 190 lbs. and found it quite sturdy and stable. Definitely a worthwhile investment if your kid love to ride.

I bought a mongoose bike from [@] for my son's 8th birthday. He was never very interested in riding it and it ended up being returned because of problems. I bought him this bike as a replacement. He has ridden this bike a lot more. This bike is much lighter than his past bike and it fits him very well. Hopefully, he will not outgrow it too soon.

My 6-year old had grown out of his 16-inch bike, so we decided to get a quality bike for the first one that he'd be taking on streets and hilly trails. This bike is high-quality, easy for him to maneuver, and will fit him for at least two, and maybe three, years. I feel so happy to have such a great bike for him right off, as he's learning to ride for real. I feel good that he'll be on a well-made bike that's ergonomically correct for him. Plus, it looks just fantastic, I must say.
